Privacy, in plain English
Effective October 2026
MyKidPath helps parents and guardians organize their children’s extracurricular activities. It is for adults 18 and older. Children do not create accounts, log in, or use MyKidPath directly.
What we collect
About you: your email address and a password (stored securely by our login provider, never visible to us).
About your child, entered by you: a nickname, grade, optional interests, and the activities you add — such as the activity name, organization, schedule, location you type in, dates, cost, status, results and notes. We ask for a nickname rather than a full name, and we never ask for photos, birthdates, home addresses or school records. Please avoid typing your child’s full name or home address into notes.
Waitlist: if you join our early-access list, your email and your child’s grade range.
How we use it
Only to run MyKidPath for you: showing your family’s activities, deadlines and the directory. Each family’s information is visible only to the parent account that created it.
What we never do
We don’t sell or rent your data. We don’t show ads. We don’t share it with anyone except the service providers that run MyKidPath — website hosting, our database and login provider, and our email provider for account emails — and only so they can provide the service.
The activity directory
Our directory lists well-known programs run by other organizations, with links to their official sites. We aren’t affiliated with them, and their dates, fees and eligibility can change. Always confirm details with the organization. Visiting their sites is subject to their own privacy policies.
Your controls
You can edit or delete any activity, or delete a child’s profile along with all of their activities, at any time from your dashboard. To delete your whole account, email us and we’ll remove it.
